EC61 ECU — a high-performance engine control unit (ECU) designed for engines with up to 8 cylinders (or up to 16 cylinders in dual ECU synchronization mode).

- 2 cylinders: 2 injectors, 1 coil (distributor).
- 2 cylinders: 2 injectors, ignition module (Wasted Spark).
- 2 cylinders: 2 injectors, 2 individual coils (Sequential).
- 3 cylinders: 3 injectors, 1 coil (distributor).
- 3 cylinders: 3 injectors, 3 individual coils (Sequential).
- 4 cylinders: 4 injectors, 1 coil (distributor).
- 4 cylinders: 4 injectors, ignition module (Wasted Spark).

Synchronization (Triggers):
- Hall sensor in distributor (simultaneous or semi-sequential injection, spark distribution by rotor).
- Crank trigger wheel (semi-sequential injection, Wasted Spark).
- Crank trigger wheel + Cam phase sensor (fully sequential injection and ignition).
- Cam trigger wheel (sequential injection and ignition).
Power Outputs:
- 8 Low-side outputs (ground switching): injectors, relays, solenoids, etc.
- 5 Logic-level outputs (0-5V): control of active ignition coils, solid-state relays.
- 1 Low-side output (high power): Idle Air Control (PWM valve, 2 or 3 wire).
Digital Inputs:
- 1 Crank input (Crankshaft Position Sensor): Inductive (VR) or Hall.
- 1 Cam input (Camshaft Position Sensor): Hall or general purpose input.
