User manual

Swap-Jetronic - a professional conversion kit for upgrading engines from K/KE-Jetronic mechanical injection to modern electronic fuel injection (EFI) and microprocessor-controlled ignition. Suitable for Audi, Mercedes, VW, BMW, Saab, etc.

2 configuration options using a single engine wiring harness (to simplify installation and tuning, the process is split into two stages):

- Injector Stage 1. Installation of a new fuel system and injection management system. The ignition system remains stock (factory). Synchronization via the factory Hall sensor in the distributor or TD signal (Mercedes).
Injection mode: semi-sequential (batch fire).
You can stop at this stage and operate the vehicle, or proceed to the next stage.

- Injector+ Stage 2. Installation of a trigger wheel and CPS (required for this stage). Installation of individual ignition coils (coils not included in the kit). The wiring harness already includes all necessary connectors.
Result: fully sequential injection and ignition system.

Kit Contents:

  1. ECU EC61
  2. CanA1 PC connectivity adapter + USB cable
  3. Aluminum fuel rail
  4. Fuel filter with integrated pressure regulator (FPR), fuel lines, quick-disconnect fittings
  5. Fuel injectors — N/A engines: 190 cc / Turbo engines: 241 cc
  6. Injector adapters (cups) (contents depend on engine model)
  7. Engine wiring harness
  8. Sensor kit: MAP (Manifold Absolute Pressure), CLT (Coolant Temperature), IAT (Intake Air Temperature), CPS (Crankshaft Position)

Available Configurations:
– 4 cylinders (4 injectors, stock ignition) — "Injector" stage
– 4 cylinders (4 injectors, 4 individual coils, sequential spark) — "Injector+" stage

– 5 cylinders (5 injectors, stock ignition) — "Injector" stage
– 5 cylinders (5 injectors, 5 individual coils, sequential spark) — "Injector+" stage

– 6 cylinders (6 injectors, stock ignition) — "Injector" stage
– 6 cylinders (6 injectors, ignition modules or individual coils, wasted spark) — "Injector+" stage

– 8 cylinders (8 injectors, stock ignition) — "Injector" stage
– 8 cylinders, (8 injectors, 8 individual coils, wasted spark) — "Injector+" stage

Staged Modernization
Ability to start the engine on the new injection system using the stock ignition for quick tuning and operation — "Injector" stage.
Later — install a trigger wheel, CPS, and switch to a modern ignition system to unlock the full potential of the engine — "Injector+" stage.
